Hey
I recently purchased this scope off CGN, used it for a week,at the range.
Then sold it on the EE.
The buyer said the front lens is loose and moving around.
As I didnt notice this,I'm assuming, neither did the guy I purchased it from.

Just to be clear,I'm not looking to lay blame on anybody and I'm offering the buyer a full refund.

I'm wondering if this is fixable?
Minox warranty states original owner only, so I guess I'm out of luck with that.

The scope functions are good and the images are clear, but I understand where the buyer is coming from as that would bother the crap out of me..lol

A few years ago I bought a used Minox scope on the ee, it worked well and I liked it. After 6 mo the ocular [rear] lens housing came loose [while in Africa] so I contacted Minox in the US and they said to send it too them. I delt with a guy by the name of Greg Clarke and he was excellent. They sent me a brand new scope, no questions asked and no issues with customs.

I went thru the same thing with the ocular lens. IIRC, Greg was at New England Custom Guns. Blaser USA is now the warranty rep. When I dealt with them, they didn't have an ITAR permit for Canada. If you send your scope there, it's trapped there. I went thru 3 scopes and they finally refunded my money. This took 3 years to resolve. Germany was even worse. They must take an insane amount of holidays. Nobody replaces the vacationer. Nobody gets back to you. Alex at Blaser didn't even know what a reticle was. And she was the warranty rep for scopes. Be prepared for a migraine. I think Go Big Tactical retails Minox, maybe they can help you out. Might not give their retailer the run around, as opposed to an individual customer. Good luck.

Well, the US was a nogo.
Germany ,told me to send it to Go Big Tactical, for a special price discount, on a new optic.
Its gonna have to be pretty special,as their scopes are pricey.. lol

I'm wondering if all else fails......................give Phil at Trace Scope Repair a call?
Can't hert.

And 45C, thanks for being you.
Nice to read 'bout some class awn'ear once in a while.............................

Yes the ZA5 series has been plagued with issues. It was made in the USA and that no longer happens. We have been in contact with the OP and hopefully we can find a satisfactory solution for him.

Yes,more than satisfactory, it was to easy.
Thanks again ,Tom
