What's the going price for a minty Hakim with a good bore?

$5.00 Kind of hard to tell what you've got. There are actually two rifles that get called by the same name. One is an Egyptian 8mm chambered version of the FN49. They have a big crest on the receiver ring. The other is also 8mm but is based on the Swedish Llungmann system. Sort of like an enlarged AG42B.

FN49 type. No brass disc on the butt and the muzzle brake is larger then the barrel

A friend with internet slower then dial up picked up a 1/2 minty milsurps. Getting pic's will be difficult

In this case it will be very difficult to answer your question. BTW the rifle pictured is the Egyptian made Hakim.

The FN49 was never called Hakim.

He told me it actually say's Hakim on the receiver

Easy way to find out. Does it have a reciprocating charging handle on the bolt which pulls the bolt back or does it have the whole back cover assembly move forward to charge the bolt. If they can answer that question you will know which is which.

your description is correct, that's why I sold mine.
