MINTY M39 what are they worth these days

Here's a few pics of my battle-worn straight stocked, '41 SAKO courtesy of desporterizer. Turns out it belonged to him at one time. This is a fairly rare rifle as it was never refurbished by the Finns postwar.

Its at least Finn matched (although I've never taken it apart to check further) Not visible is the SAKO cartouche on the right buttstock. Its similar to the one on PerversPépère M39.

The middle picture shows where a piece of shrapnel made a hole in the underside of the fore stock. Desporterizer mentioned removing the shrapnel as it was interfering with the insertion of the cleaning rod.

The last shows initials carved into the belly of the rifle stock by presumably, the soldier the rifle was issued to. This was a fairly common practice amongst Finnish soldiers. You can make out a Tula hammer stamp at the front of the magazine housing and the wartime finger splice.

STRAIGHT-STOCKED Sakos priced LOWER than run-of-the-mill M-39s?!!
Boy, these ones are the rarest of the M-39s! only 8200 have been issued and many of them got restocked with conventional stocks once re-arsenaled.
They are few and far between now.
Nevertheless, I'd love to find a really good pistol grip M-39 to complement my 1941 straight-stocked one... at a reasonable price... :)
PP.

I agree, straight stock is the rarest of all M39...
From what i know about M/N, it remain very few straight stock M39...

And i can tell you that you need a good spongy towel to wipe all the drool when PP open's up his safe and i'm not talking about the happiness in the pants when he let you shoot thems!
