Wow, first I heard about it being a limited run! Glad I got my order in with you guys yesterday! Thanks Guy for making the order process super smooth and easy.
 
Does it come pre-rusted? Mine would rust unless it was kept saturated with CLP constantly. It somehow missed getting re-phosphated whenever the plumbers came around. I also had one that couldn't go through two mags without a serious double feed. I finally managed to pawn that one off on someone else. I'm indifferent on the ambi selector with the fun setting removed, but I'm glad the stupid ambi mag release isn't there.
You can see there's a bit of love/hate. Now the C9 was fun. The C1 was the real thing.
 


All this talk of missing my service rifle makes me sad, sad because I am never going to be able to own something like my service rifle....don't take me the wrong way, I love the idea that the younger generation are able to get something like what they humped through the woods...and all this talk about price, I would pay $2000.00 for an FNC1A1 :(
 
I heard from an industry member "in the know" say that these 500 Colt rifles will be the only ones released and other models (contrary to what their website says) will in fact not be released. Is there any validity to this?

All we have heard is that these particular rifles are only be made in 500 of each. I haven't heard that they won't be releasing the other models. These are the only ones released as of right now. I guess time will tell and if we hear something we'll try and keep you updated on here.
