A gentleman by the name of Lloyd Johnson who lives in Ontario...area code 705....and who made a number of rifles for Fort Wellington (Prescott, On.) a few years ago. Does anyone know of him? I do hope he is still in business. Thanks. Dave
 
Last time I saw Lloyd, he was living near Lake Simcoe. Did a 411.ca search; there are 10 Lloyd Johnsons listed, none near Lake Simcoe.

I believe the guy you are talking about lived in the Beaverton area. I presume these were antique type rifles he made as he had a Blacksmith shop east of Beaverton; the name of the little hamlet escapes me right now.

I haven't seen him for 5 years. I would like to know where he went too.
 
When I last visited Lloyd, he was making some Brunswick rifles. First met him in the early 70s when I was involved with making repro trade guns.
