A friend of mine received a sporterized .303 rifle with no clip marked " Chuchill gunmakers Ltd 7 Bury St London England SW1" also marked " GRI 1945 No. 1 Mk3 "

Any idea about an available clip for this? 5-shot or 10-shot? I'm going to a gun show in a couple weeks and would like to pick up the correct clip

Before we go any further, its called a magazine.

The standard ones are 10 rounds.

10 shot magazine for the No1MkIII will work fine. There may be modified 5 shot magazines around but they'll be hard to find at this point and usually cost a bit more. $35-$45 for a standard magazine is average.

"...GRI 1945 No. 1 Mk3..." Indian made receiver. Not a big deal. Check the headspace anyway.
Churchill sporterized all kinds of Lee-Enfields. Uses a standard No. 1 Mk III mag. You might find one at a gun show. Won't be cheap though. $35-$45, depending on condition. Pro-Mag, Stateside, makes aftermarket 5 and 10 round mags. They don't have a great reputation though. Gunparts has rough condition No. 1 mags at $34.05US. Marstar sold out at $40 each. You could try Western Gun Parts.
Has to be the right mag too. No. 1 mags have two locking lugs on the back. A No. 4 mag has only one will not fit.

Is there only 2 types: No. 1 & No. 4? Is the No. 1 the only one with two lugs?

Well, actualy four. the 8 shot Lee metford magazine, and the 5 shot carbine magazine. (Note carbine, NOT No5Mk1)
Then there are variations of the first two. By the way the Savage No4 mag has a seam running across the bottom while the bottom of the Canadian and brit mags are solid.
