Hi Ian, Wendy and I are planning on going down to Mission, and I think Cliff Young and Darren Scherger ( from kelowna ) will also be there.

I would suggest emailing Dave Adams to make sure there is room.

Include the class you wish to shoot in as well. I emailed to let him know I was coming to make sure there was still room, he stated that it is going to be a full house so it may be close to being full.

Aside from the calibre limitation for hunting rifle, are there any other pertinent rules such as weight of rifle or power of scope etc. ?

I believe there may be a 10 or 10.5lb weight restriction. Contact Dave at the email or phone in Obtunded's form for clarification.

I think the standard is an unmodified hunting rifle regardless of weight. Custom anything and your ass is grass...f with the best. I have never seen a set of scales at these matches.

As for targets, dunno.

Folks;

Since the last time many of you would have visited the Mission Rod & Gun Club, we now have a Catering Service (A Touch of Kiwi Catering) that rents the kitchen in our clubhouse. I just spoke to Vicki Brown and she has indicated that she will be open tomorrow (Saturday April 18) from 7:30 am until about 2:00 pm or so. Coffee should be on by 7:30 am and she will have available muffins or she can cook up a full breakfast if you like. She will also be open to serve lunch and I believe she will be running a lunch special.

The food is great and her prices are very reasonable.

Brian
