I've been told that both Trijicon and Truglow offer night sights where the front sight is green and the rear sights are yellow. If it's true, neither company's website makes it very obvious. Can anybody confirm that either of these companies offer a mixed color set? Any recommendations on where to buy these from?

The Trijicon sights on my Glock 17 are fading so I'm looking at replacing them. I know the green sights are brighter and some people prefer all three to be as bright as possible, but I've always found it disorienting to try and align three green glowing dots in a darkened room so I want to try a mixed color set. In the same vein, I've already tried the Trijicon's so I'm thinking about giving the Truglow Tritium Fiber Optics a try. I don't do IPSC so I don't have to worry about staying in production class.

Did you have to buy two sets and mix 'n match them yourself or were you able to order one set with the two colors?

Actually they were PT Night sights (they get their tritium from Canada).

However, I did find the following information for you for Trijicon, yes, you can buy them in kits.

Enjoy! Muti-Colour is the way to go!!

Meprolight offers a multi colour option too. Truglow sights are very much different as the fiberoptic portion makes the sight a very much obviously different colour.

Do you sell the Truglow TFO sights Redleg? If so, please PM me with a price and if you have stock. I might be in Calgary this weekend and it would give me an excuse to stop at TSE. ;)

Also, the colored tritium have different life spans; ie some die faster. The fiber optic fronts of the truglows would eliminate this factor. Also would kick ass in daylight. I am a big fan of fiberoptics, if you haven't seen them in full daylight, or how bright they can be close to dust, you'd be shocked.
