Mixing Truoil & mineral spirits substitute, results?

Has anyone tried this new "green" crap, mineral spirits substitute for thinning out truoil? If so how did it work out for you?

Tru Oil is not my go-to finish, but I do occasionally use it. I thin it with turpentine, which works well. It might be my imagination, but it doesn't seem to thicken up in the bottle as quickly as it did when using a petroleum based solvent.
Not a direct response the the question, but might be of value.

I tried it, worked okay. But not as good as the real mineral spirits. Didn’t leave residue or anything, didn’t seem to mix the same but it’s a sample of one use.

Good to know. Thanks! Do you recall what your mix ratio was and was it on raw wood or already coated ?
