Mixing up Moose Milk for patch lube

I will keep an eye open , you are correct in that my supply is at least 2 years old . Too bad I really liked it As for Moose Milk I use 99% Alcohol instead of water in my Ballistol ,helps with the evaporation ,my opinion only.
Cheers

I have been unable to find Hoppe's No. 9 for Black Powder for a number of years. What I have on hand was bought at Gun Shows from old stock.
Hillfolk Musket Supplies has been unable to import it - no bilingual labelling apparently.
Cabela's, Wholesale Sports, and all the other vendors of Hoppe's products that I have visited do not have it. If you find a supplier, let us know.

I'll swear I saw Ellwood Epps selling the stuff by the jug just this late summer when I was there. I'm assuming you're in Saskatchewan, so the 4 day drive is probably prohibitive, but they are a site sponsor and ship. You could always ask how they're getting it?

I have used the blue windshield washer fluid with enough water soluble cutting oil to turn the color turquoise. I add a dollop of Murphys oil soap to the jug as I use it as a cleaner as well. This has water in it so follow up by drying patches if you use it as a cleaner.
