Update! Not quite done yet. Won't attempt to put the CQD rear sling plate on until I have a solid DPMS stock removal wrench, I tried to get it off with a cheapie CAR wrench for $8 but ended up mauling the tube and castle nut. LMT does one hell of a stake-job.
DEPENDS... Crane did a small JSOC buy of LMT 10.5 in early 2002, after the cutdown in shop Colts where too time consuming - and LMT is in the Crane approved parts still - but the avg USSOC and USN Mk18 have 10.3 Colts.
Basically 99% of those guns in the field are 10.3
As well most of the USSOC entities are replacing the Mk18 with the Hk416 10.5 OTB

Barrel's Too Long
If I could get an LE6921CQB upper I would and I sure as hell won't be sawing down my LE6920. For now my clone represents the 1% of CQBR uppers out there. I wouldn't mind a Stag 10.3"... (if anyone's interested in a straight trade, shoot me a PM).

It also got a Crane extractor spring and O-ring and I'm considering an H2 buffer and Colt receiver extension. Waiting on my range membership renewal to shoot the sum#####.

Updated pics. Maybe real life can be put on hold and I can actually go shooting again. I have no doubt the furniture pics are driving Mike K crazy.
Stag 10.3: top end on 6920 lower with all the usual MK18 bits. I cannot see the point of a giant light on a supposed CQB weapon so I went with the SF Scout light. Awaiting the Stag lower before attaching the receiver end plate sling mount.

Nope, that's the KAC QD mount on it, though I like the look of the Vltor better. Now if the MK18 Fairy could magic dust me up a Dieter RSM and the proper sling I think I could stick a fork in this and call it "Done".

Well I just might be building up another shipment, I can throw one of those RSM's in for you.
