MK18 Mod1 Upper Build Help

Hi I really like the MK18 Mod1.

Also trying to save some money and learn how to do it myself.

I need the following components

1. 10.3" or 10.5" barrel. What size gas port? Is the gas port size standard? Where can I source it? Is brownells an option?

2. Handguard. Really like the DD one but would like to explore the new MLok ones. Any recommendations. What size is appropriate? 9"

3. BCG.

4. Charging handle?

5. Stripped upper?

6. BUIS?

Please provide recommendation and sources where I can acquire the economically.

Are you doing a MK18 Mod 1 specific upper build or a 10.3" short barrel build?

Mk18 Mod 1 uses specific parts there aren't really any "economical" options, however with a 10.3" short barrel build you have lot more options.

^ what he said. MK18 Mod1 means 10.3" and DDRISII rail to begin with; The economical way to build that is really to buy a DD upper
