What rail system would YOU mount your MK203 to?

As stated above...If you build it they will come. I like the pic showing that M203 mounted to the quadrail of the AR.

Any future thoughts on a shoulder stocked stand-alone model? I assume that it too would be classed as a non-firearm due to projectile velocity.

Now that I have thought about it more I think I will pass on mounting a 203 on my AR and go the standalone route, so what mount is required this this?

I'm guessing KAC?

no new pics - just all the old renderings Koldt posted for me a while back.

I have nothing w/ me up here in Ft mac, am headed home for the w/e, and will load all the appropriate software on to my laptop, and might be able to generate some new renderings by end of next week.

Silly me never took any pics of the URX mount before I shipped it to Kevin.....and besides, the design has slightly changed since the proto mount was built.

that looks like a KAC mount. - EDIT- Probably not KAC, but looks like the KAC standalone unit. The GL looks like a flare launcher, it cocks from the side above the trigger, and is made out of stampings, definatly Not a real M203

we can do a similar sort of mount though.

I never thoughy therre would be any demand for it....But seems i may have been wrong.

The nice thing about the MK203, is that you could go that route, and once URX's become more common, buy the mount, and be GTG.

Or looks like go Samson/Troy, then upgrade to URX and just need a new mount....etc.

That is a pic of my flare launcher. It's a KAC knock off mount. So what mount is that?

Well what we would probably do is to make the KAC style mount that would be completly compatible with the reciver of the MK203. No other mount needed.

However if you had to use the KAC standalone unit we would have to come up with a way to make the MK203 mount exactly like a std 203. At this point I do not know if that is possible, as some other changes we done, IE lowering the barrel line slightly to allow clearance to a certain suppressor.

Best way would be for us to build our own standalone unit. Less parts is good right? Less to go wrong.....

edit for my sucky spelling....

KAC does not sell the stand alone unit as civilian sale

The ones you see are Airsoft copies.

IMHO IF you want a stand alone system - dont use a M203.

I dunno, I kinda like it. Makes for more versatility.

Up close of the stand-alone.
It SAYS KAC:D
Actually a pretty solid unit. Heavier than the GL. And for my application, more than strong enough. I would even suggest, strong enough for any application.

FNG762 got his first, I liked it, so got mine. I can't remember the exact cost, but landed was in the $250Can range. About 1/10th the cost of one coming from Florida. And this one we could get. Reed won't sell to us. Exact bolt on, perfect fit. Didn't have to #### with anything.
