We look forward to debuting the ISSC Modern Sporting Rifl e MK22 (“SCAR” Type rifl e. The gun will be
available in the pre-ban format carrying 22-shot magazines. This is the fi rst rifl e to enter the Canadian
market which combines the handling and reliability of a military-style design, while also presenting the
shooter with all the elements of a modern sporting rifl e platform.
Because the gun is manufactured completely with metal parts, it not only exceeds all requirements for durability,
but feels like a centerfi re weapon even though it is chambered in the economical 22LR cartridge.
The rifl e comes standard with front and rear folding sights, along with Picatinny-style rail mounts that will​

accomodate all lighting, aiming and gripping accessories.

Why would they be restricted? This ain't an AR variant...

... and if the barrel of the SCAR is 18.5"+ means it's non-restricted. In it's current form, it's restricted by barrel length only.

Semi .22's do not need 18.5"+ barrels to be non-restricted.
