MK22 spring modification help needed..

Hello All,

I bought MK22 (first batch) and just like everyone else I was very disappointing with the light strike. Searched online to see how others fixed this problem and came across the "Lock tight" solution. Gun fired few rounds and then went back to light strike. I opened it up and found out that the screw stayed in place. Another Youtube video showed that adding a washer to the spring fixed it for good. I would like to ass washer to the spring assembly however having hell of a time opening the trigger assembly for MK22. Is there anyone who has photos or instructions on how to add a washer to the spring?

There is a free factory fix .. FN Fourms has a 91 page thread dedicated to the MK22 from its first days til current, although I have not visited the fourm as much after I installed the factory fix .. The fix info comes in at about page 85 .. was very invasive fixes up to about page 51, but as the fix was the key to lite primer strikes the the thread has only reached page 91 in the last year .. every mod and cleaning mags is well discussed, but the factory upgrade did the job for me.


There were many fixes to the lite primer strike .. if you have a screw that you could locktite and inspect, you do not have the factory fix ..

I had to e-mail a German Tech, who sent the parts right away .. no more locktite .... request a kit , provide your serial number
