Huh? What do you mean "leaving for 5 days to hunt white tails"? Your farther N than I am! I Bowhunt every AM and hunt 'tails within a k of my front door.
North Bay is somewhere you GO to hunt...not some where you come FROM to hunt?!?

On that note, I leave Thurs for Kap for moose, back for bow for two weeks, then off again for another two weeks for deer and B. bear in cognashine (rifle season)

North Bay is like the middle ground. We have a good number of moose and a good number of deer, just not oodles and oodles of either. Drive a little North for moose aand a little South for deer.


When you have property in 82a & 82b you make the trip. The deer population around N. bay is OK, but not even close to the numbers in 82b. I have a better chance at a deer in the 5 days in 82a than I do the entire season up here.

I go out with the bow a bit around here, but I hardley take it seriously as the numbers of deer/size of the land just doesnt make for to much excitement.

was looking for deer this morning, just happened across a horny cow with a bull hiding in the bush gruntin' and beatin' up a bush. I managed to get him to show himself before he rounded her up and took off. He was a bit bigger than the one I got
