MMMM...Sausages. Got my deer from the butcher today!

I sit here eating fresh barbecue smokies enjoying CGN. Life is good. How is everyone elses table fare this year?

I got a rabbit, and a couple geese, deer season was not a good one this year.

I never got any Sausages this year and now I'm depressed...lol..

Other than the Deer stakes, Goose\Venison Kolbasa, Venison summer sausage, Rabbit\Chickens(that I raise) 1 wild turkey,2 ducks (left)in the frezer and a almost a quarter of elk left I am doing okay. Oh yeah,We dont buy meat

I've got moose and cariboo thanks to Dad... Also got deer, bear, grouse and trout in the freezer.


I ain't going hungry

I got 1 measly Ruffie this year. Saw the tailfeathers of a few, but only whacked the one.

I wrapped them up and froze them, planning on digging them out when I had enough for a feed.

I see a stirfry in their future.

I got a buck and doe whitetail, so can't whinge. Much, anyways.

I shot a bull elk and my hunting buddy shot a mulie and a whitetail this year.... my freezer is full of smokies, garlic sausage, Italian sausage, jerky, pepperoni, steaks, and roasts... life is good!

I shot three deer this year and lost count on the waterfowl we shot. Did some trading also.
Just got my sausage back from the butcher. Been eating bear, goose, venison jerky I made and right now, I`ve got a crockpot full of goose stew bubbling away.

Yep, We're busy enjoying a very successful season once more; Elk, moose and 3 deer. have Jerky, Pepperoni, Garlic sausage, Smokies and salami. Lots of steaks & roasts, and of course, moose hamburger. MMMMM, MMMMM, good!!
