new recivers so there are NON-restricred. :)

IMNHO, only the truest of poseurs would buy that. Compare that to its big brother the C6:
cheap aloy vs steel cocking handle guide = floppy cocking handle that jumps behind the bolt,
aluminum bipod vs steel = bipod sheared off at gas tube during attacks.
dual feeding methods vs belt only = new, clean belts only or jam o matic. No relinking ammo to make new belts. Mag feed with metal mags only, very hard to get out
I've seen enough of em start the morning on the range but never make it to the end of the day. These do not stand up to any serious use/abuse IMO.

i concur with klunk and sf...would like to see more details ...will also believe it when i see it. Its not nice to tease ;) ...

Interesting.

$8500.00 is a pretty good price.

I have seen real deal F/A SAW-249s priced at $75,000.00+ in the Shotgun News.

SKBY.

Yeah, but that is in the US where prices are inflated for transferable MG's. You can get MP5k's for around $17,000 US, but if you are in LE or if Canada allowed it, you could get them from HK (if HK allowed it) for around $1,200 US.

A 5 round belt for that would be totally useless here

it uses links designed post 1945? so it would be 5 rounds.......

the $75K was probably for a transferable FA very few of thoses are transferable(to civies) class 3 weapons in the U.S

if thats legit i am buying one LOL just gotta figure out how to make $8500 +tax etc without getting into alot of crap either with the law or the mrs *its the mrs i worry about shes a mean ##### when she wants to be:eek:*
so do belts count as magazines or do i have to pin the belts to 5 rnds only LOL?

The $75,000.00 Price I quote was for a transferable class III Machine gun, and that is the going rate in the U.S.

What they cost for LEO/Military up here doesn't really matter as us Civies can NOT possess them.

IMHO, I can not see us being allowed to own that Semi-auto version. My money is on that it will be a "variant of".

A said, I'll believe it when I see it.

SKBY.

I fired the C9 quite a bit and yes, it does not like rough us, using a 30 rnd C7 mag is a good way of damaging/breaking said mag, and it jumps around on the bipod when firing. Treat it well and it will keep the enemy's head down and help you win the firefight. A 200 round mag box blocked to 5 rounds seriously kills the fun.

"...probably for a transferable FA..." Saw an M249 SAW on a US web site some time back. Price was 180 grand USD as I recall. BNIB too, I think. Some place is the U.S. West.

Not for $8,500, no... You could get a full-auto variant here in Canada, and the government will even pay you to use it.

How does that work where the government pays you to use a full auto without enlisting? I had to enlist.
