Like the title says, looking to purchase a precision rifle optic (rifle is a savage 10 Fcp-sr in .308 if that matters), mostly playing around 100-600 yards with option of competing out to 1000 yards. (6-25+?)

I know there have been numerous reviews/recommendations on these forums but I wanted to stress the MOA/MOA matching reticle and knobs. aswell as FFP

Price point, anything $500-$1500. I would like to buy once cry once so to speak but money doesn't grow on trees.

Suggestions as well as price (and sponsor who has it) would be greatly appreciated

cheers,

You may?? be able to get into a first Gen Bushnell HDMR, it's FFP, 34mm tube, and I believe that MOA/MOA turrets are an option.

You should consider Sightron Scopes, specifically, Sightron SIII 8-32 X 56 LRMOA.

I have attached the link so you can check out the specs for yourself.

Depending on use, SFP may be better than FFP or vice.

I'd suspect most use SFP for target/bench rest shooting and FFP for tactical and hunting game animals that aren't very small.
It's really boils down to preference considering reticle size, magnification, come ups and math.

Viper PST is a FFP IIRC.
