Model 12 stock set

I’m looking for a nice stock set for a model 12. Gun was a field grade but had a Simon’s rib added, reblued and bishop stocks fitted. I’m not crazy about the high comb though. The wood looks amazing but the high check piece isn’t my thing. Are there decent stock sets out there? Seeing that the gun isn’t original I don’t need factory stocks, just one without the high comb. I’d even trade them.

High cheek piece can be made a "no cheek piece" with a rasp and 10 minutes.
If you like the nice wood, why not?

Yes I thought about that. But it’s a nice stock already.

I had the same problem, bought one from Numrich in the states, arrived Tuesday, good looking, satin finish, plastic buttplate and good fit.
I think Boyd’s has sets for sale as well. Might be worth a look.

I would expect Western Gun Parts has them in stock in Edmonton.
