Depends on the year and condition. Generally the earlier ones are worth more. I have a 14-3 in almost new condition from around 1972 in the EE now for $625. Does yours have a dash after the 14 or no dash?
 
I just bought a 6" that needs a serious blue job for $175. It's a tack driver besides the funky finish and not looking inside it yet. Middle of the road is $300, and Mike is right with about $625 for a minty.
 
I say $350 - $550 is the ball park for one in nice to perfect condition. Maybe $625 if one was minty, original condition, with correct, original box & papers, and letter of authentication signed by S&W historian Roy Jinks. A minty one, with the large goncalo alves target grips, but not box/papers just sold at our local gunshop last weekend for $450.

I just picked up real nice 1965 Model 14-2 with the 3T's for $400 delivered to my door from Ontario the gun in very good to excellent condition no box or tools but still had the original dymond targets on it , Its depends how bad you want it people will pay anything if there looking for a gun they want badly i guess but i think i got a good deal shes a real nice shooter i'm happy with it.
 
I just bought a target 14 as well...real nice gun, just got it today havnt shot it yet but I dont think Im going to really like the sights! Are there any good options for replacement sights for the model 14?

Ive shot a couple 14s in the past that have the same sights and it seems to be the rear sight that Im not found of, maybe not a deep enough grove?
