Model 1894

Trying to figure out the age of my Winchester model 1894 lever action rifle. I’m assuming .30-.30, but no caliber marking. The serial number is 299xx, and there is another marking “38-55”. I looked it up in the Winchester PDF, but not sure if I’m reading it right.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Caliber is 38-55 not 30-30

That’s what I thought, but wasn’t sure. Any ballpark ideas what this would be worth in moderate or rough shape? Not looking to sell, just curious.
