just picked up a cooey model 600 22 LR its missing the magazine rod dose anyone know where i can locate one or if one from another model 22 will fit this gun

FWIW, a model 600 mag tube is longer than a model 60 mag tube. That's another change they made when Winchester took over Cooey.

Thats weird becasue in the magazine I got from the nfa there was a article in there about wgp and they talked about cooey parts. They even own the tooling and mage extractors for the cooeys.
