Model 610 10MM Revolver – 6.5" reintroduced

I saw that S&W was showing a shorter version at the NRA meetings in Indianapolis which appeared to have a 4.2" barrel. If it is a 4.2" (and why wouldn't it be, I don't think they do them in 4" anymore) it should be here in near future. Shooting USA also made a point of saying it is reliable with .40 S&W which the GP100 is not completely.

Would prefer in 4.25 or 5" Only option in Canada right now is the 6"..... when they work there way up here that is.

Needs a shorter barrel before I'm buying one.

+1

I think a 5" barrel would be perfect for me to get interested in buying one, too.

Something I noticed, these are N frame guns. I always thought they were L frame.

I an going with the GP-100 as my present holster for my GP-100 will fit the 10MM version. The Ruger is the same general size as the L frame. The N frame would be a bit over kill. The Ruger will run 40 cal with the right moon clips.

Take Care
