model 64 30-30

looking at this model 64 30-30 guys asking $675 for it i only see $350 just wondering would u guys think. gun was made in 1954. its a carbine, 65% bluing, missing front sight hood, other than the pic he sent me cant really tell anything else bout it
 
Even for $675 I would grab it. If it has never had the barrel cut 64 carbines are fairly scarce. The rear sight dovetail should be one inch closer to the receiver than a 64 rifle dovetail if it is an original carbine. The price is fine of course assuming it hasn't been drilled for a side mount scope or anything. I would offer $600 and see what he says.
 
A 64 in a carbine $1,675.00 would be closer to realistic if it's not abused

The OP also doesn't say whether it is a standard or deluxe 64. A deluxe 64 carbine is a really rare bird. I have seen 3 64 carbines in the flesh but only seen photos of a deluxe. He said 65% condition so not a high condition rifle by any means.
