Model 7 Predator

G'day all! I put some money down this week on a new-old stock(I think) Remington Model 7 Predator. As far as I can tell from searching google, this model was discontinued around 2012-2013.

What I'm wondering is anyone with experience with this model, how have you liked it? Does it group well? I'm switching out my current Modell 700 Tactical for this, much lighter, 223.

Any feedback is welcome! Thanks

Mine is the same configuration as well in a 204 Ruger except I bead blasted all the camo off and cerakoted it. I've replaced the stock with a Wildcat, trigger with a Timney
and firing pin with a Gre-tan as well.

Had one in 22-250. beautiful rifle felt really good in the hands. took a couple of deer and a rabbit with it. only complaint I had with it was the 1 in 14 twist wouldn't stabilize bullets heavier than 55 gr. seriously limits deer bullets available in that caliber.

Nice Rifle ! I have a reg M7 in 223 and it shoots OK ! 3 into 3/4 " - skinny barrel ! Yours should shoot into 1/2" with the right loads ! :) RJ
