Eyebawls is B&L 4x12-40 with some fancy schmancy range finder thing.
What kind of price range do these kritters fall between.
Not a lot of use on it but a fair bit of marks on the stock.

Can’t wed my cell to my laptop to gitt’im awn’ear.
I’m special this way.

Use the website imgur for photos. There are apps on your phone for it as well. Can upload right from the phone, then post a link here with them that anyone can see. Imgur shuld also scrub any meta data from your photos like location info.

even for me very easy to post a picture as a paying member.

Always best to sell the scope seperate. I usually never offer anything for the value of the scope. To the right person, it may be worth a whole lot more.

Sort of depends how far "post" 64. I am sure that you know that sort of 1964 to about 1968 pretty much bottom of the barrel - later than that, I do not think they are so bad - especially once they got the anti-bind thing for the bolt - speaking as someone who bought a store new one in 1976, and that my son still uses. I would go with the others suggesting $1000 or better - if post 68 or later. I do own a 1955 30-06 - to be honest, except for the "cult" thing - is not really a whole lot of "greatness" about them. And to be honest, if it is 264 Win Mag, I would bring my bore scope to take a look at the throat, before plunking down shekels.

Upload your cellphone pics to imgur then use imgur on your laptop to resize and get the bbcode link for the forum. Simples ;)

Tried downloading the appy.
Said I wasn’t hooked to the internet.
Fruck’in FRED.

I’ll find the gal, fresh’in’er up with FF and take some photos.
Maybe HD will post’im upp’ear pour moi.

Thanks for the replies.

A neat old gun in a cool caliber. But well used. Would be a rewarding project to refinish that stock. Scope with a Leupold. Otherwise you’d probably just end up almost giving it away.

The XTR's were a nice rifle! I had a Win 70 XTR .30-06 once that I wished I still owned!

Definitely, although it seems more lightly used but by a very ham fisted and or clumsy hunter. Checkering, bolt handle and mag plate bluing seem to nice and intact for real field use.

XTR - nice rifle - yes!! I had to look - the one here is from 1981 - instead of "264" it says "338" - other than that the roll script appears to be the same, although the fonts might be smaller and further up the barrel on mine. I had bought another one - "store new" - in 1976 - but not a "Sporter Magnum" - was just "XTR" - in 308 Win. Our son still uses that one as his only big game rifle. I see the bolt has that anti-bind slot - which is, of course, correct if that one was made in 1991 - would be a fine rifle, if that throat is still in decent shape!!! I must say, that stock, as is, takes "character" to a whole 'nuther level!!!

Pictures might be misleading me - but perhaps that magazine box / floor plate needs a second look - on my rifle, the upper surface of the floor plate, and therefore the lower edge of the mag box, are flush with the bottom of the stock. Perhaps was a magazine box to get a smidgeon more depth? Perhaps a one piece unit installed instead of the original two piece unit? My 338 Win Mag should be identical case to that 264 Win Mag, and it holds three down (in magazine) with one in the chamber for four rounds on board when loaded up as I carry it.

I think when Winchester Repeating Arms were building Winchester rifles - they had a "Westerner" - which was a 264 Win Mag with 26" barrel. Not sure what this one has - my 338 Win Mag is 24" barrel. I also have a "Westerner" in 22-250 - but made by United States Repeating Arms Corp (USRAC) who were building the Winchester rifles since 1964 - that 22-250 was made in 1981 - so as if USRAC "resurrected" that "Westerner" name for a few years - later that style / version of 22-250 was a "Ranger".

You know what you see.
Very little use.
It was owned by granpa and the grandson had it for a bit too long.
Spent some time under a pickup seat.
I’d love to trip over an appropriate stock for it.
The trigger is set ‘bout just right.
Three way safety is an added bonus.
