I am going to guess that pricing is well over $1000. Essentially a factory pipe with alot of bling. If willing to spend that type of money, build your own with a true match barrel. you know it is going to shoot. Factory rifles will always have an element of risk.

Do look at the newer Savage LE line or their HB varminters. They have many new features that might be to your liking and will be coming with an awesome center feed D mag. Odds are, it will cost less then the Rem.

I have yet to see a factory Savage that didn't shoot 1/2 MOA or so.

People alway have a Very High Interested on new Toy that just come out, I never had a Rem700P fail on me, I have owned about 7up today, still have 4 of them, and out of the box, it could do 1/2 inch at 100 hold if you do you own loading, and you own part in shooting.

That model there seem to have the same configure as the 700P, accepted different stock, I don't believe that new rifle could ever out shoot the 700P...Can't believe they would put on a different stock, shave some metal of the barrel and charge an addition of $500, it is an outright rip off...

I definately agree. Not like I have much experience with different factory rifles, but I'd be much more inclined to spend that money on a custom rifle or building a factory rifle into a custom rifle rather than paying that much for a factory rifle.

One of these days Remington and Savage are going to figure out we want detachable 10 round box magazines instead of the useless hinged floor plates and 4 round 'clip' magazines they peddle:puke: :slap: :kickInTheNuts:

regular XCR's are pushing $1100 this year, so Id guess the Tactical model will be at least a couple brown ones over that

"...we want detachable 10 round box magazines instead of the useless hinged floor plates and 4 round 'clip' magazines they peddle..." Both companies sell far more hunting rifles than they do 'tactical' rifles. In any case, the term 'tactical' is a marketing thing and nothing else. There is no such thing as a tactical rifle.

P&D had one for like $1650... prices just went way up.. it was like $1200 bucks around 3 weeks ago...

I have one in .223rem The trNyde finnish is something else bolt work like it was in butter. Sold my Police in .223 rem there stocks are mean and ugly compared to B & C
They best I could get with 75gr in Police was .400 but I only did minimum loading with police I see some fellows shooting in .250 with 53gr bullets, the XCR has shot in .250" and under 1" at 300y pretty fine gun in my opinion. I have added a couple upgrades Jewell, and Tubbs firing system.
Remington 2009 price US $1500
