The 7600 in .35 Whelen is produced every year in limited numbers. Remington sells them mostly overseas though.

Here's a new synthetic model being sold in France: http://www.armurerie-auxerre.com/ca...-p-238.html?osCsid=lgk5goc78hp3a4s1ainorescn0

Often times Grice Wholesale in the US gets a small number of them as well. The Grice guns often sport Maple wood furniture and are available in other calibers as well. http://www.remington.com/products/firearms/special-runs/centerfire/model-7600-maplestock.aspx

It a bloody shame Remington doesn't make them a catalog item in North America. It's kind of stupid really! They make them anyway so why not offer them here as well?

Worst case scenario you could have someone import a US gun from Grice Wholesale for you.

Gagnon Sports in Ontario can order one in for a very competitive price. Shipping is only around $20 anywhere in Canada, and you get the satisfaction of knowing that a fellow CGN'er boxed it up carefully and shipped safely for you.

www.GagnonSports.com Send them an email, or call tomorrow between 9-5, ask for steve and talk to me directly.

Sorry for being the sales guy.. he asked!

I am not sure where you are getting your info but it is not correct from what I am being told state side or I am being fed BS. This gun in this caliper is not produced every year as standard production or even special order in any number for the north american market. I have purchased two 7600's indirectly from Grice and it was those guys that indicated they got the last batch of standard walnut production run in .35W in 2004?? Being produced for overseas is of no value to us since it is a carbine which has never been made available to North americia. The limited runs of specials in .35w like maple stock models for Grice rarely make it out to the general population, Select dealers and US collectors eat them up.. In fact I am working indirectly with them now through a uS dealer on a cool blue 7mm08 laminated 7600 since almost 7 months and if all goes well a 2506 after that.
They say these 7600 numbers are accurate to 2004. If you have more current documentation please share . It would be greatly appreciated. Kind Regards

Busted - I bought these new from two different Ontario retailers in 2006 and 2010 - one walnut and one synthetic. Both Canadian retailers I purchased from buy directly from Remington.

Remington does suprise from time to time with their "under the radar" releases like my 7600 pumps in 35Whelen. My findings indicate Remington made non cataloged 35Whelen 7600 Carbines in 2002, 2004, and 2009 - soooo get em when you see em is the moral here.

In early 2010 I was told over the phone by Remington that they were in production every year. My original call was to inquire about the possibility of having some tube fed .444 marlin and .45-70 guns built...

Busted - I bought these new from two different Ontario retailers in 2007 and 2010 - one walnut and one synthetic. Both Canadian retailers I purchased from buy directly from Remington.

Indeed they do!!! Thanks for posting that...and if you ever come across any more please PM me. I know many who want them!!!

Man do I feel stupid. Busted as you say. See I collect what I call the average Joe's remingtons stuff that is a bit odd or rare calipers have been for over 40 years, your nice wingmasters etc and a batch of 760/ 7600's.
The .35 whelen means absolutely nothing to me since I don't reload it or hunt with it and the only reason I even have one in .35 7600 carbine is because I know they have never cataloged one for resale as a normal remington production gun in North Americia.
Then boom you hit me with yours and I look like a fool.Shocking to most but wrong chicken to bust this time..
Ok your top gun was produced by remington in dec 2004 ( agree????) and it part of the famous or not so famous lot 25150 which was a substancial order manufacturered by remington in .35 W wood carbines for overseas, jlock, monte stock???.Could never find out exactly where they were slated for overseas but were in english boxes.
However some how six yes six guns out of this lot got misplaced and never made over seas but showed up almost 2 years later in late 2006 If I recall correctly with two regular remington stock orders in canada. The BS stories about them ordering them special from remington or a group of special ontario dealers got together in canada and placed a small order of these for a show is just that BS from what my dealer told me at the time and I believe him to this day.
Nope one showed it's head in the maritimes which is still here well greased and never fired in it's original box the the other 5 showed up at Elwood EPPS.
Two of the five went immediately to one buyer, which has since parted with one I found out, one to another ontario buyer who is a site member here and still has it and the other two I never could find out where epps sold them but perhaps you have the missing 5th or 6th since yours is clearly the 25150 batch.
So was your top gun bought new at Epps or not????????? You said 2007 I say late 2006 so we are close. If so you got it on me at the time since I was on the hunt for them all when I was told about the six but they sold too quick at Epps for 689 or 699 I forget.
On your second one I don't follow the special runs of syn stock models since I don't collect them but it was made dec 2009 and I know for sure Grice has some in 2010 for sale or as I have been told and I quote from other US remington 7600 collectors on the overseas syn models.
In the past year or so some examples have escaped the factory stateside & appeared in the U.S. market, so it pays to keep your eyes open. Yours could be either one in my mind don't really now but definately not standard rem production. Regardless you have two super rare guns there.

So I stand by what I said no .35 whelen carbide 7600 has ever been a remington cataloged item available to the average buyer in north americia. You seem to be a .35w collector so I am sure you already know the old 25150 batch story if not tell me what you have been told.. I do agree with you 100% on the fact if one is ever seen here grab it, Have a good one. Cheers :)

I purchased 1 of the carbines from Epps when they were available and have since traded it off for something else that I thought I needed.(Incidently, I have since purchased another 7600 in 35 Whelen from Doug on this site and also have traded it off)Should have just kept my original 7600 35 Whelen !! Bac4

Thanks for chiming in and proving I am not talking out of my ass. Just wondering now do you remember how many he had when you bought yours.
I know the 1st two of 5 went to one buyer very quickly I was told, then a third to a buyer in ont. No idea on the last two That may be you for one of these?? take care:)

I believe Epps had 6 in stock when I purchased mine with 2 of them sold to buyers in B.C. When I saw them on the website I called immediately and handed over the credit card number. I was at their door the next morning when they opened to pick it up. Like a fool I traded it off for something else that didn't stay in the gunsafe either !! Bac4
