Model 7600P question

is a Model 7600P a restricted firearm?(16.5 inch barrel) Is it drilled for scope mounts? anyone have one of these?

Non restricted. You can also find 10 shot mags (eagle .308) for it. I believe it is drilled and tapped.

why so expesive when a 7600 carbine (18.5 brl) is only $599

The 7600 P says "Police" on it, has a parkerized finish and ghost ring sights. The 16.5" barrel is sweet. You can only get a barrel this short on a factory configuration. (or after market manufactured barrel, but not bloody likely).
