Lots of threads on this Rimfire rifle, but I'm interested on opinions for resale value.
There's a nice one on the EE - but from what I've found on various sites is that values are all over the map.
What would you pay (complete with rear site, etc) for one of these?

Thanks for your input! W/Tech

Up to $350.00 if it is nice , complete with rear barrel sight and peep sight and has not been refinished. Some people will pay more but $350.00 is about the top of the range at this point in time. There were civilian versions as well so make sure there is a serial number on the pistol grip and a broad arrow "C" marking on the barrel to confirm it is an actual trainer.

ive seen a couple of the trainers but ive never seen one with a broad arrow "C" on the barrel.

Funny. Every trainer that I have seen has the broad arrow C marking along with an inspectors number, such as 67, 68 etc., stamped just ahead of the breech. I believe the broad arrow C is also stamped on the flat part of the bolt handle. I think it is the military acceptance mark (but not positive). I have 3 trainers, (and have had others) and all had such markings. The civilian version does not. So it is possible to have a barrel from a civilian model that was perhaps put into a trainer stock that has the number on the bottom of the pistol grip or someone could have stamped a number into the stock to make a gun appear as a trainer.

mine came from my grandpa and he got it directly from the military after he served in WWII so im 100% posative this one in my hands is a military one.
even has the hole for the fake mag.
but no marks on the barrel.

why would there be a broad arrow mark on a cooey gun?

hahahahahaha
never mind.
my dad put a scope on this when he had it, the rail covers the marks your talking about.
i just had a peek under and found them.
dont notice one on the bolt handle though, just a stamped "J"
