Model 94 Little Big Horn 44-40 and Apache 30-30

Hello folks
A very good friend of mine was asking my help in trying to figure out what these two rifles are worth. He bought them new and hung on to them since.

One is a 1976 Little Big Horn 44-40 new never fired and the other is a 1974 Apache 30-30 new never fired.

I did a bit of digging but the price seems all over the map. People on this board have been great about this sort of thing so I thought I'd put the question up.

Does anybody have a good idea what these are worth?

I see them regularly. I generally pay no more the $400 new for them. Often less for the yellow plated models. I find them very difficult to sell at gun show, as most people want a shooter, not a collector gun.
 
I've seen them new for between $400 and $600. I bought a new in box Sioux Carbine about two years ago for ~$400 iirc. Maybe it was $375.
