Any ideas on what can be done with a 22H.P. Takedown with a worn out barrel. Rest of the gun is fine.

Worn out barrel? Are you sure it's not just the proper 22hp diameter of .227? regular 224 bullets will rattle down it and produce the groups the size of a garbage can lid. edit - think it's actually .228

what have you been using in it?

Ben Hunchak has a mold for cast bullets and there is a box of Dominion in the EE for sale.


oh and it's not BP or antique FYI

You could have the barrel re-lined to .224 dia. and have the rifle re-chambered to .219 Zipper (same parent case as the .22 HP and .30-30).
