I just reviewed the new Wholesale Sports catalog and noticed the Remington MODEL R-15 Modular Repeating Rifle in .223 or .204. Both model types (regular and carbine) have at least an 18" barrel.

No where does it mention "resticted", but this is Wholesale Sports we're talking about.

Does anyone know if this rifle is unrestricted??

The dealers are bringing it in even though it's restricted because it is a superb gun. It's clearly a hunting rifle but because it has the internals of an AR it becomes a scary gun. Just shows how stupid Canadian Gun laws are. That's what happens when emotional anti's make emotional laws.

It is a Bushmaster AR all painted up in green paint. Sorry, shoots well but it and it's larger brother the .308 version, which is made by D.P.M.S. are both evil here in the great white north.

The folks at WSS know the rifle is restricted. The paper catalog and website are just reprints of advertising supplied by Remington and other manufacturers primarily for use in the USA. Phil.

I'm sure they know, I was just being facitious. It is still kind of strange that there is no mention of its restricted status. That is normal practice which I know your firm follows.
