Model Seven detachable mounts

Anyone running a detachable mount setup on a Remmy Model Seven?

Would like to hear about it.

I saw one with the old machined Warne premier series back in the 3-hole days.

For you I think I would run leupold QRW’s.

Talley makes a one piece scope base for the Model 7...Quick-detach Talley rings will then fit it.

Can offer a pic rail for the M7 action. Then any Weaver/pic compatible ring will work.

I know your asking for a model 7, but if it is for access to the barrel mounted iron sight version, maybe check out the QR rings and bases from Leupold. I run them in my Sako Black bear (2.5-10x32 optic w/medium rings)for that reason and they are great. I would say my average return to zero waives between .25-.5 Moa. They are light and low profile and relatively inexpensive.

I went with the Leupold QD setup.

Base # 51247, rings # 49971

Fits perfectly to hold a 2.5-8X Leupold.

Rifle is a Model Seven CDL in 350 Mag with factory sights.

EGW...quality on their rails is excellent. At least the 6 I am using have been great

Certainly a great value. So affordable I wondered if there would be better options. Thanks for your knowledgeable opinion.
