Model Type 97 at Lever Arms ??

If Marstar CAN get ahold of these, I am sure they will. They've got to know they can make a real dent in the market and still make huge profit at far lower price tags than lever. Man, I gotta wonder, how does Lever even stay in business?? Noticed they have some Norc 311s in .222 (only 5 made apparently). One thing though, best deal I've seen on a Ruger 10/22 is lever I think.

Might be a Ruginco 10/22...Lever sux

I was actualy speachless (but with a smile on my face)
at what you wrote earlier.
For a moment, I couldn't believe you wrote that.

But after that, I thought
"wait a second, this is Deckard, the real bogeyman of cgn,
he was actualy gentle to write only that".

Regarding it being type 88 - I suggest someone come and see, there is little strip somewhere on a buttstock saying type 97. I am way too far from Lever Right now to come and check myself. I wish it was 800$ rifle. I wonder what velocities obtainable from 26" barrel?

In another thread today there's somebody saying he saw one for 4.5k on Saturday at Lever's.
That math formula is working the other way around I guess ;)
Instead of cutting the price in half, it triples it

I must be an 88.

Label says model 97A. Would be nice to know how does it shoot. 3450$ by the way. If I sell off my other stuff I might be able to afford it. But I would like to know from first hand how accurate and reliable is the gun.

Just handled one today. I say it is nice built rifle. I can compare it to Tavor (where is it by the way?) in quality or finish department. Of course a few things are slightly weird - those are Chinese rifles after all- but see nothing wrong with it. Scope is somewhat strange as well, especially reticle, but I can imagine it works fine. Yeah, I know, it is 800$ rifle but so is Tavor, FS2000, AUG and whatever else we can't have.
