modern 22 Hornet rifle?

Weihrauch still makes the HW 60J and HW 66 in .22 Hornet

Or how about a Blsaer K95?

Can you find ready-ammo for 22 Hornet in Canada?

Yes you can find factory stuff... But at $1 something a pop, I would much rather reload...

Speaking of which, the Hornet is a pretty frugal caliber. 12.8gr of Lil-gun seems to be the sweet spot (with 35 or 40 bullets)

22lr,

Depending which part of the country you're in, I've seen a number of BRNO 465 floating around.

I was just going to say this my self....why by new when you can buy one of the best 22Hornets ever built...if you can find one! Mini-Mauser, double set hair trigger and acuracy that you will be totally amazed with!!! Just don't loose the clip!

My last one was a RUGER using the rotary magazine. If you intend to reload get it improved to a Kilborne so the brass will last more than 4 or 5 reloads. The normal Hotnet looks like a 30-30 with no real shoulder, the K makes it look like a rimmed 308, then load and seat as a rimless case rather than a rimmed style.

I have a Browning and it is a shooter and well balanced. I have had a Ruger # 3 which shot well and it is up on the EE right now. Also have a Martini in K hornet that I have to get shooting.

you can still find them.

I had a remington 799 in 22hornet it was fun light gun and shot decent too.

I currently have a model 24 in 22hornet/20g and I just bought a M6 Scout 22hornet over 410.

I like it very much and have no problem finding factory ammo even up North.
