Modern Sporter Update April 5th 2018

" How f*@&!ng long does it actually take to look at this thing and determine that it's not an ar-15 and that it won't take full auto trigger groups? "

Well it takes about six weeks for the Ontario office to transfer ownership of a restricted. (Should take about sixty seconds.)

So a few years to look at a rifle seems pretty reasonable on that scale. LOL.

You should post the rcmp labs contact info here so we can all start calling and politely asking why it takes so long for this simple task. Perhaps we could offer advice to help in their decision making progress in case they aren't sure what they are looking at.

120 days sucks . But will patiently wait . And occasionally play with my parts looks great . Can’t wait to get the email

I think you're looking at the wrong product if you're expecting to find costs comparable to mass produced economy-class rifles

Im going to hazard a guess that, with no elected political oversight of the classification system, the 'experts' at the RCMP lab will pee their pants and demand that no more scary black things be allowed into Canada.
Id bet it is deemed a variant. maybe that's cynical, but in this political climate (i.e. tidepod challenge politics) if it shares so much as a paint job with an AR Id guess they say restricted at best.

Looks good. Way better than that new 180 IRG is doing.. I don't mind the WK180C, it looks ok. BCL is supposed to have one coming as well, so that should be decent as the 102 is a pretty ok rifle. ATRS still rocks it though. Good work.
