I actually kinda like the look of the SVT-47, but wonder what kind of problems you'd run into with that full length rain and the top eject of the original.

You'd have to rework the ejection system to not end up with a lot of stovepipes.
 
Personally, and many wont agree but id love to see a polymer pistolgriped adjustable stock for the svt. Its an agressive looking rifle i think it would look like a hell of a rifle with a nice stock. To me it almost looks out of place in wood.

I don't mind the top version of the svt47 if the side and bottom rails weren't there, basically the svt45 with a full length top rail would be the tits.

As well as a polymer stock with a top rail for a no1 mk3, how easy would it be to take a sported LE and drop it in a poly stock and scope it without drilling the reciever. Pretty sweet if you ask me, or tuck the original furniture away for safe keeping and hunt with the lighter scoped polymer set up.
