That is pretty much what we envisioned as well. The Falkor as it is currently produced is restricted as I understand things.
It is, that's why I'd love to have one made in Canada NR. I'll watch, the moment it becomes reality I'm in.

I was surprised this thread made it 4 pages before the bashing and whining about the price started.
I've had positive and negative comments about the MH in the past but those negatives were also emailed privately to ATRS in an attempt to help them improve the product. I've shot three MH's from the first batch and experienced the issues first hand, these issues were communicated to ATRS and obviously taken seriously as improvements were made to address the problems. They also quietly contacted owners of first batch rifles and offered to upgrade their rifles to have those same upgrades.
That is the kind of service that makes a company great.
I don't understand why so many people insist on crying about the price. If you can't afford one and can't afford to feed it quality ammunition then maybe this isn't the right rifle for you. This is a hand fitted semi auto using top quality components that took a known good design and improved on it and also modified it enough to get it past the firearms lab as non restricted. That was a huge investment up front on a rifle that could have easily been classed as restricted if they were in the mood that day which would have resulted in a huge loss to ATRS as there really would be no market for this rifle if it was restricted.
It's kinda like shopping for a supercar, you don't say the car is a piece of crap just because you can't afford it. Certain things are simply out of reach of a lot of us, that's life but bashing the product on those grounds is stupid and ignorant.
I think I'll eventually buy a MV but right now I already have three non resteicted semi auto rifles so it's really hard to justify spending $3500 (which is actually a steal) when I already can't decide which rifle to play with some days.
If any of you think you could build a rifle of this quality for less I'd love to see it and I'd gladly hand you my money. Considering I've spent over $500 on a barrel alone for one of my AR's I really doubt that it's possible to get what ATRS is offering the market for the price.
To the guys asking them to build one for under $2000 or wanting to run Norinco 5.56 or who ask if there are plans for one in 7.62x39 I think you're missing the point of a rifle like this. This is not a cheap sand pit plinking truck gun, it's a high end rifle that deserves to be fed quality ammo and aim your shots, not do Beowulf mag dumps and shoot cans in the local gravel pit. Sure it is capable ofmdoing those things but it's a waste of barrel life and just not the type of shooting it was designed or marketed to do.
Why would they waste their time building a budget version when they can't keep up to the demand for the rifle they build now. If you want a cheap plinker go buy an XCR or a Kel-Tec. Either of those rifles will do everything you ask of them with the garbage ammo you want to run. Jedi mind control... This is not the rifle you're looking for.
Funny how so many want the Italian supercar for the price of the Dodge dart. We'd all like that but then reality kicks in and we go buy something in the middle and try to be happy with it while we hope our buddy with the Lambo will let us take it for a spin.
Well done ATRS, keep up the good work and thank you for giving us a quality non restricted rifle.

Nice stage. You fed that shotgun well. What was the range of the rifle shots?
How are people complaing about price on these? When you compare them to what is available in NR to what you are getting the MV is a steal, I was going to go in on the first batch but the government sent my wife a lager tax assessment than we planned on but in the new year I will be getting one for sure.
I want to pipe in here, and raise my glass in a salute to both ATRS for manufacturing such a quality product, and to BeerBaron for representing Canada -and the entire Canadian firearms community- south of the border. I've heard a lot about how difficult that match was, so thank you BeerBaron and ATRS for showing those southerners how us igloo dwellers can kick some ass! Represent!
There should be nothing but pride shown for any players willing to dive in the Canadian firearms manufacturing market (especially if it's to produce a quality NR!), and for anyone that is willing to represent Canada in out of country shooting matches using our made-in-country products. I know that I'm proud.

I was hoping to put my Tax return towards a MV but I paying again this year... FML...
might be wlling to sell a couple of ARs namely my 15.7 and my 6920 and get one in April.
The two major factors that sold me on having an MV built were NR and the firm fit of the upper and lower. I have a factory produced 3gun ar but the fit between the upper and lower is a bit loose. The gun is really accurate so if it gets better with the MV I'll be happy.
When I hear people talk about accurate AR's I usually do not hear about the fit between the receivers. From shooting bolt guns we know that the less movement there is between the action and stock, the greater accuracy will be. Seems like most people glaze over that fact as it applies to black rifles.
