I just weighed my AR180B-2 and it's 6.8 pounds dry. I'm amazed that the MV can get down this low.

Use the range buddy app for your phone, it will help you measure your groups more accurately and it's really easy to use, just set the scale and mark the holes on your screen and it does all the work.
I ordered a Macabee AR receiver and I want to build in the sub 6lb range. I thought ATRS said MV available in that range also?
The carbon barrel is not a weight saving feature unless compared to a steel barrel of the same weight. There are pencil barrels in the 1.5lb range, the proof barrel is likely well over 2lbs. A similar bull barrel to Proof profile would be 3-4lbs
