Modest SVT 40 Collection (PIC H E A V Y ! !)

Thanks for showing!! Really new to the svt 40, But you sure have me following your posts now !

I only have one SVT, though I wasn't aware that the 1945s were particularly different from any of the others. I was considering selling it to free up room but I guess I'll be keeping it now, thanks for the info! :)

Beautiful collection you have, wish I had the room for a collection like that.

I thought I was doing swell by starting off my SVT collection with a '41 Kovrov. Looks like I've got a lot of work to do.

All I've got is an iPhone with a busted up camera, not worth disrespecting the rifle with grainy pictures. I'll see if I can snag someones camera this weekend and I'll post them.

One thing to mention though, is your Kovrov stamp looks completely different than mine. Your "oval" is separated and the stamp is large, I have a small stamp with an elongated oval. Any idea what that's about? For reference, here's what my stamp looks like:

Yeah, technically they are Podolsk (sp). I still refer to them as Kovrov, as it's easier than trying to remember the proper name, lol.
