Modifications for SP2022? looking for lighter trigger modification

Hey guys

Ive had a SP2022 9mm sitting in my safe for the last 3 years and I decided to start using it more, possibly even for some matches

Ive found the trigger on this firearm is really heavy and it also takes a lot of follow through to release the hammer.

Does anyone have any recommendations ?

I was looking into SRT kit I think it might fit although mine is the german model sp2022 not the american p226

U do know the sp2022 and 226 is 2 different gun right? Its like putting gasoline in a diesel vehicle.

Look up on the sig forum, i believed if my memort served me right, an older p220 hammer spring will fit but only drops the teigger pull by 1 lb.

Edit. It was a hammer spring from a p232 in which wolff makes different weugnt spring for it. I only have the spring in my tool box no bags. So i couldnt tell you what poundage it is.
