I am a thumbhole guy for function, and while I don't mind the look, it doesn't get me excited like nice walnut... I have always been a sucker for a Schnabel forend, and I like the subtlety of the Win fleur-de-lis pattern... the Lazermark is just too much of a good thing and crosses over to "gaudy" for my taste.
 
I wunder how this flurr dew lays would look with a Hobbitt whole in the rear wood?
Schnubble, flurr's and the tumb whole.

My hobbit hams are 3XL and I have to special order gloves... no problem with wrapping over top... but an excellent theory non-the-less.

Another man out there that can actually shoot a Desert Eagle and hang onto it........or in the old days an AMT 44 AutoMag..........loved shooting that thing, buddy who owned it couldn't get his hands around it but I couldn't convince him to give it to me..........and I sure as hell couldn't afford to buy it in them days.
Needless to say I have the same problem with TH stocks, my thumb always gets stuck in 'em.

First... that is probably the worst example of a Win Featherweight that I have seen... and second, that WeeBee looks like it should be hanging in grandma's kitchen with her china...
