Modified vs Cylinder bore

So I took out the 14" mossy with both the 14" Cylinder Bore and the Modified Choke. Shot two different targets with each. I was willing to pen and count the 00 Buckshot.

Here's what I would call the average results over 10 rounds (5 each). The modified from 15 strides on average was smaller and more consistent (less flyers).

I found the real payoff was knocking down the IPSC "B Zone" targets from 20 yards using cheap Remington birdshot. The Modified Choke barrel with did this with ease, something my Mossy 20" cannot do! The 14" Cyclinder Bore was not effective doing this and would only knock them down around 40% of the time.

For those that want to know. I ordered 15 boxes of 3 inch Brennkee Black Magic Magnums.

Cost was 318.35 plus 33.80 so 352.15 shipped to me. That's not bad for hard to find ammo.
