Okay so i've had my Norinco M14 for about 3 years now, and i've only done a few things... I got a USGI Cammo synthetic stock, and some other little things.

What i want to do, is install a pistol grip... "A good one" and cut off the butt stock and install a folding one. The thing is, is that i don't want to make a mess of it, and i also want it to look good.

Has anyone done this to there M14 ?

I don't want a VLtor, or anything like that, strickly a home mod... with a good outcome...

Thanks.

well.... i make these ones in canada.... and an AR buttstock version of the grey one is in prototype testing as we speak..... :D

You could talk to turf on the board here. I had him make one for me for less then $300 including the pistol grip etc. I'm sure he would tell you how he does it.

Any way you could hook it up with a recoil spring so that it would make that cool AR rattling noise when you fire it? :) Nice setup though. Looks really good. Did you actually gain much in the way of shortening? It almost looks like the rifle is about the same length with the stock collapsed so maybe this one is only useful if you need an extended stock?

This may sound stupid but we have a late moose season here and the adjustable LOP is great for when you are wearing a couple inches of clothes. Add to that the fact that now I can set the LOP to exactly what I like.

the designs I have been testing utilize an imbedded aluminum fixture , essentially the same dimensions as the rear portion of an AR lower. "Evil Genius Designs" will be unveiling with a dealer membership in the coming weeks :D

LOL
how... very ... observant ;)
that is a hole, prrepped for a stainless rivet on a norinco 5/20 round mag..... that would accept 6 rounds right outta the package. I of course inspect and correct all my mags :D

I've had ONE out of probably 30 , 5/20rnd norc mags that would accept 6 rounds instead of the legal 5 ...... the mag came out of the package that way.... so i had to do the responsible "so called law abiding" ( :D ) thing and rivet the mag with a stainless steel rivet, to properly block it to 5 rounds.

other than this ONE mag.... I have not met a norc mag that did not function and fit as it was designed.
don't panic...... norc mags are good to go ;)
