Mods - Delete Thread Please

I read it somewhere before as to what is the minimum equipment requirement that a first timer will need to enter 3 gun but my search has come up empty so please forgive me for asking this question.
son & I just want to give it a try to see if it is for us. currently i have the pistol, ar & a pump, we have 4 lar mags & 2 pistol mags, no sling, no belt, no mag pouch etc. can we still come out and just carry mags in our jean pockets?
i know there are lots of great folks out there that will probably offer us the use of their equipments but I am just curious if we can come out jus use what we have. i dont mind having to buy a belt, holster but just dont want to put $500 into it and then realize it isn't for us. appreciate for your opinion.

I'm quite interested in this as well. I would assume this would be answered at the 3-gun skills and drills orientation. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong as I will likely need to buy at least a vest et.al.
