Well my 2 cents I'm not crazy about the HK influance on this AR.. Unless it's like Version 1.9 then it has best of both worlds.
love the undead selector & barcode reader/serial # this is way cool these parts of the lower would make for very unique lower. If this project doesn't appeal to me, I will opt out & do my own custom lower. Not to piss off you service guys off but if I wanted a C7 look a like I would join DND. So I'm not crazy about coping our military some what.
What I can tell you all is, the price of the first run of the CGN ltd. edition lowers cost us about $265 ea. that was lower & art work. the run was 35 pieces. I was lucky to own CGN032 but for some reason hit bad times & sold it. There was a few lowers left over for the late comers and think this would be a good idea again.
Version 1.1 - Version 1.2 - Version 1.3 - Version 1.4 - Version 1.6 - Version 1.9 all good for me
With Version 1.3 - Version 1.4 - Version 1.9 being the ones I like the most.. keep in mind I didn't vote.

to be honest that zombie stuff looks pretty retarded - no way I will allow the CGN name to be associated with that stuff.
ANd I don't like the barcode- looks like some done to death video game with no originality. I use barcode ideas when I ran out of idea and needed to toss graphics out to get the work done.

I too love the bar code, if it were just me, it would definitively be on the lower. But the majority speaks and seems not wanting the bar code... shame, because as you said, it would be a heck of unique design!
My feeling is that most guys want a custom lower, BUT want to stay conservative in the design. My advice would be : c'mon guys, let's dare a little bit and have a lower that's going to make turn heads at the range! (in a good non-cheezy way)

The extra graphics should not cost a lot more other then the start up cost i.e. the temp plate, From there the machine take over. I could live with Version 1.9 as it has something for all of us.
GT & zykopat nice to see that this is going further then the last time. the very first CGN run that was done was nice but could have been about 15% large for the logo. GT to bad the logo is not being used this time around it's part of our past & being one of the original 80 members from the beginning when we moved from the US web sites to support a booted friend & member. nice to see that we are 28,000+ & growing, at least it's nice too see that the serial number will have both the year & production number. If we can't keep the logo GT at least have the Canadiangunnutz as the name of the AR frame or part of the serial. I will be in for the same as last time 032

1.8 is the best so far.
The Zombies, bar codes etc, you'll outgrow.
If you're going to buy something like this you'll want it for a long time.
Think of it like getting a tattoo. Get something that has staying power, and you give a damn about. Cartoon caracters, zombies etc. Just wear a T-shirt instead. It's cheaper and not permanent.
Plus if you ever did want to sell it... You don't want to limit your target audience.
If it has class, it won't go out of style.

I read ya GT. So we dump versions 1.0 @ 1.6 and 1.9. We're left with 1.7 and 1.8. People want a full maple leaf so we dump 1.7. That leaves us with 1.8. Some expressed wanting a bigger maple leaf and inscription.
So here's version 2.0. If everyones agrees and if GT approves we would work around this template to fine tune the final design? Let's not forget the right side...

I voted 1.7 with a solid maple leaf. And as before... I'd like to take number 007 when they come in 
Version 2, which is just a bigger more solid 1.7, is fine.
And I agree about the zombie stuff - cool at first, but would get old fast.
