MoE Elk "culling"-Cranbrook Reg.

For those of you who know or are in the area.
Is thiis a worthwhile trip?
I understand that hunting is not interchangable with shopping. This area is/flat valley posted from left to Zanzibar, I presume. The MoE folks say there is lots of Crown to play in.
I can pull the wk off, drive ten hours and hope to have an antlerless in front of Pop's in five or so days.
Worth it?

Hunting in Cranbrook area is alsways a worth while trip though it is a little busy in the bush at times. Maybe not so busy this year with everyone comming to the West Kootenay's for our first Elk season in years.
