I have one I think it with if I remember correctly came out of Ukraine, about a dozen or 15 years ago. Scope doesn’t match or as they say force matched with electro stencil and the magazine four plate has been stamped to match the receiver the bolt and the butt plate the bore is shiny mirror like excellent condition. What I was wondering I’ve been out of the loop for the last while what is one of these worth?

A couple of refurbed PUs just sold at Switzer's auction and many have sold at auction over the last year. If you can access past auctions there is a pile of price data. They are certainly going for well over $1,000 now.

My first PU (a refurb) set me back only $650, but more recently, to get non-refurbished PUs, I've had to go much, much higher. They are as good as any WW2 Sniper. The refurbed PUs are still a decent buy at $1,250 or $1,500. Find another genuine WW2 milsurp sniper rifle for that. If they have good bores, they have excellent accuracy potential, even with surplus ammo.

I am not a big fan of those refurbs personally. But I have seen them advertised between 1,500 to 1,750. Not sure what they are selling for.

Out of curiosity I just checked the two in the latest auction- both appear to be genuine refurbs (based on a quick-look), nothing special, and they went for (all-in) $1,725 and $1,610.

This is like asking "F150 price". It depends on so many different factors that a decent answer is impossible. We need to know details, condition and see some pictures in order to give a useful answer.

The Molot Mosin snipers with original PU scopes and mounts that came in around 2010 are very nice rifles. They were a very good value for the retail price at the time of $650. I am not surprised they are selling close to 2K now.
